Solutions to the Wildfire Crisis Steven C. Lance

The World Wildfire Defense Foundation (WWDF) is a global initiative born out of necessity. In the face of increasingly devastating wildfires, our foundation was established in 2025 to unite communities, emergency responders, and governments around a singular goal: to revolutionize the way the world prepares for and responds to wildfires.

Albert Einstein is often quoted as saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.”

This sentiment reflects how wildfires are currently being fought – using the same outdated methods.

To address this crisis, I have developed an effective and affordable solution.

Strengths and Advantages

Implementing this plan presents compelling benefits, including:

  • Robust protection of individuals’ lives and property.
  • Swift response times in the most critical areas, ensuring safety when it matters most.
  • The potential for significantly lower insurance costs, benefiting both individuals and businesses.
  • Strong safeguarding of valuable state and federal property and resources.
  • Enhanced command and control over emergency resources, allowing for effective and coordinated responses.
  • Optimized resource allocation to effectively manage and combat challenges across a larger area.

These advantages underscore the effectiveness and necessity of adopting this plan.

The Plan

Enact robust regulations and laws that require the implementation of wildfire defense systems in communities most at risk.

– Establish a highly trained wildfire task force endowed with the authority and resources to effectively manage wildfires statewide.

– Innovate and develop cutting-edge strategies and methods to enhance our capacity to combat wildfires.

– Proactively utilize all available state resources to address wildfire threats without delay.

– Forge strong partnerships with industries and educational institutions to create and deploy more effective wildfire prevention and response resources.

Why It Matters

Wildfires are no longer rare, isolated events—they’re a global crisis. But through education, strategic planning, and community action, we can build resilience and reduce the risk of catastrophic losses.
